Smoked Apple Butter Bourbon Chilli Sauce
Having had a bumper crop of apples one Fall, I thought about using some of the apples in a Chilli sauce. With that thought in mind, I started playing with flavors and developed a limited edition chilli sauce: Chef Wayne’s Smoked Apple Butter Bourbon Chilli Sauce.
This Sauce combines apples and butter that have been cold smoked over night, Kentucky Bourbon and a combination of chillis and assorted spices. When these ingredients are combined they create a unique, slightly buttery ,smokey, spicy full-flavoured sauce.
